Hi, I'm Roy ... WELCOME!!!!

Firstly, I am not a professional nor a technical - savvy photographer. An amateur with a slight shade of a "part-timer serious photographer wannabe". When travelling, I am more of a "taking photos while on holiday - type" instead of "going overseas to take photographs - type".

The idea of this site came about when my friends told me that it would be a good idea if I can share my photos with them. As I don't 'instagram' and hardly post photos on my Facebook account, this site is a good platform for me and for my friends.

ï»¿ï»¿Born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia. I love travelling whenever I can and try to see as much of the world that I can possibly do and to take the opportunity to capture and to freeze moments in time forever of the many different aspects and dynamics of life, movements, objects, architecture, sceneries, shadows, play of light and as a whole, the interaction of life with my camera through the eyes of my lenses, making them an "original permanent composition of life" .. and of course it adds on to my memories of the related trip(s).

Memories may fade, smallest details may be forgotten, events and sceneries may be exaggerated .. but these photos helps to re-ignite those memories, minute details identifiable once again and events and sceneries put back in perspective.

Through the years, my 'weapon(s) of choice' used to 'freeze time and moment forever" through these photos in this site varies from the Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Ricoh, iPhone, Leica and Hasselblad. I have not specified which different camera(s) was used for which photos uploaded here as I believe that it is always the photo(s) that 'speaks to you' and attracted your interest rather than what type of camera was used to take the said photo(s). Also, at times, it is fun having my friends guessing (and second - guessing) which camera was used to capture certain photos on my site ..

I hope that you will enjoy my mixed 'rag-bag' collection of photos of "original permanent composition of life". I will be updating 'fresh' photos regularly on this site and I hope that you will be able to make time to visit occasionally when you are bored and have "nothing much to do". Feel free to drop me a note about any particular photo(s) that may attract your interest.

Although these personal photos of mine are not of 'award - winning' standards ... for me .. it made me happy and smile when I see them and I hope you will too.
